You mean the IRC channel or in the game? Well, no worries then. The IRC folks are, quasi by definition, PC people, and what do thos people you can talk to on MW itself have? Right, a PC. Or Mac. Which is a PC, too. And all of them already have MW. Those are the wrong people to get to buy D+. People you meet on Live are the people you want to talk to.

Ha! I don't have an Xbox but I'll be buying Darwinia+ for a friend so I can join in on some Xbox Live Multiwinia matches. Hopefully the multiplayer on xbox will fare better than on pc.

Well introversion don't do sequels (yay!), so good luck getting MW2

What are you saying? That a sequel of a spin-off that only really exists for Live Arcade's sake won't happen?

Back on topic, I own an Xbox! I've recently started Mirror's Edge, as it was a nice cheap buy and I thought why not. I've not played it since Fallout 3 before that though, but then I haven't played many games recently! I'm almost definitely going to get Serious Sam HD on XBLA when it comes out, and Shadow Complex looks interesting, so we shall see! And I'd guess I'd probably play a bit of D+, if not just to have it on my Xbox for when people come over!

I have an xbox, but it would take more than an awesome indie game to make me play it, and nothing short of divine intervention to make me use XBLA

I've got both an Xbox, and an Xbox 360, and I plan on getting D+ when it's finally available. Or at least get the demo first so I can try out the controls and see if I like it.

If you can connect your 360 pad to the PC, you can already test how the controls work in Multiwinia. They work OK for gamepad strategy controls. I bet there's going to be some tweaks still for the box version, for example a slightly less erratic squad camera.

Oh, yeah I forgot about that. Last time I bought a used wired controller and it seemed perfectly fine until i plugged it in and used it with halo. One of the thumbsticks was messed up, I would barely even touch it and my guy would start moving around, it was very frustrating.

Anyway I still want to get D+ when its ready. :)

That glitch with the controller is a common issue, usually fixed by unplugging and replugging the controller back in.

Or messing with settings and dead zone and shit.

Or the controller was extremely shitty. I guess that's a possibility.

You spotted a problem right there: the official XBox 360 Gamepad driver for Windows does not support setting a dead zone. Nor the rumbling. The alternative driver does support all that, but not XInput.

Well, that, I had no chance of knowing.
