Congrats Jelco! :)

Do you have any more dates besides the signup dates? I'm thinking of joining, but I'd to know what the timeframe would be.

Hooray for the ladder!

I signed up and I'm hoping it will be at a decent hour.

Great feature.

A few suggestions though. ;)

1) Replay request on the match page?
2) Ability to cancel your own requests on the queue?
3) Ability to set a server password when requesting?

Currently, it's pretty non-user friendly. It's not clear how to get to the replay page (News -> View Details). Perhaps add it to the nav bar?

Also, the request limit needs to be decreased if there's no queue. :P

I need some help...

"Signups are open! Secure your place in the tournament now by clicking the Signup link above." (http://www.multiwinia-ladder.net/tourney_main.php)
There are 2 links above - one is the picture, which is linked to the exact same place, and one is the list of entrants, which does not have any signup form.

Help?

Edit: D'oh!! I wasn't logged in ><

Nice, I expect to do terribly but have signed up nevertheless! Fortunately I won't get far enough to be destroyed in Blitzkrieg :P

Let's see how rusty I really got by not really playing in months.

Well played Jelco...I'll give it a go though I'm probably worse at MW than I am at Defcon

My strategy is to not play any until the tournament match itself.

I am offering up a prize, for Jelco to sort out what to do with.

The prize I'm offering is basically a commission with me, for an item/design of your choice along the lines of Fluffwinia (or really, pretty much whatever) up to (let's say) a materials cost of 10 pounds in materials, and maybe a limit of 10 hours of my time.

For reference, I think I priced the materials for a fluffwinian at about 2 pounds or something, and the time investment is about 3-4 hours, so you are looking at a fairly luxurious item. This is something that money can buy, but only 1 person has ever taken me up on, and you're fairly gaurenteed it to be unique anyway. It's really pretty much up to whomever the winner is to decide what it is that they'd like, and provided it's not too complicated/expensive, it shall be theirs - I'm mainly talking things like the fluffy Spore Generator, Mongo the giantwinian, and Spot the Spotwinian (ie, custom unit, extra large, and out of the ordinary materials), but really, pretty much anything goes provided it's within the money and time I can commit, and within my expertise. For example if xander won, I could probably make him a fluffy version of his plane.

The only last qualifier is that I don't want to do anything particularly rude or lame (like a giant fluffy cock or fluffy goatse or anything), so I'd like to reserve the right to reject some ideas on that principal.

Hopefully this is a prize that both members and current non members of the fluffwinia club can be interested in.

Not that I have the smallest chance of winning, but there's no way you'll send it halfway across the world, for example, right?

Also, do you have any other creative talents other than fluff?
