Let's go.........RANDOMultiwinia!

This is a failure. A complete failure. I will not be surprised if this will turn out to be even more of a failure than I think it would be, which is quite a failure.

This is mainly made for the same reason as the one in the Lounge - to not have a thread for every little thing you wanna say.

The reason for this: there's something I really wanna post, but it doesn't deserve its own thread.

So here:

is this fair?!?!

(The spawn was off and then the CPU won)

1) We already have a random thread in the lounge. Do you really think that we need another?
2) If, when time runs out, you have fewer spawn points than the enemy, you lose. That seems entirely fair. I don't really understand what your issue is...

In case you didn't notice, my Multiwinians already stand in the righ places and all the lights are on. The spawn point is not activated. If it was, then the game would have continued to sudden death (or a tie - I don't remember what I set)

Yeah, but you apparently were just a little too late.

Dunno, I see nothing wrong with a Multiwinia specific random thread. Maybe it even absorbs some flamewars.

It takes half a second or so from the time you capture the third control point until you actually activate the spawn point. If you were already in sudden death (or something like that), you lose. Without more details about exactly what was going on, I don't see anything strange about your screenshot.

I just started up Multiwinia again to see if I could catch a game. I had to upgrade to a new version via the auto updater and noticed something different with the background noise in a lobby.

It was some piano riff, I can't quite place my tongue on it yet. But it sounded familiar. Was this apart of MW when it came out or was this an added update?
I can't seem to find the files in teh main.dat nor can I reproduce this piano riff while waiting in lobby.

Am I going crazy and hearing things or was this tranquil piece added to MW for our listening pleasures?
Either way, I like the addition/figment of imitation.

Also, I would like to add, this thread might be helpful, I've found a few times where I've wanted to post something about MW. But didn't want to start a whole new thread.

Okay, so, my friend has Multiwinia and wants to buy the Greatest Indie Pack on Steam - anyone know if he will be able to gift Multiwinia if he does?

If you buy a game on Steam then by chance buy it again in a pack, you can't always gift it.

Are you sure?
I think people have reported that only happening with some compilations, and not others.

This.

Gifting is not available on any other games (except in the special case of the Left4Dead 4 pack).

I think, however, it may be available on request by the game's publisher/developer, so if you convince Introversion. I can't be sure about that though.

Too right. I bought Doom 3 and it's expansion on steam, then a while later bought the complete Doom pack, and it didnt allow me to use it as a gift.

Ah, sorry for the misinformation. From my experience every game I have gotten twice has been gift able. Strange this is not enabled for all games.

See, it's confusing - if you have a game and add the pack with that game to the cart is says that you may be able to gift it - possibly misleading people into buying the pack and finding out they can't gift. D:

Anyway, he decided to gift the whole pack to his brother.. That is one lucky brother ;)

Thanks anyway for all of you lifeless enough to respond :P

(in no way am I saying I am any less lifeless than you)

I've been seeing some "Demo Restricted - Buy to play" games in the lobby, although I'm properly authenticated...

Is this supposed to happen?
As in a game hosted by a Demo player shows that?
