yeah, what the subject says. also: why can't i change my controls/mouse sensitivity, and why on earth does the multiplayer not have a "join ip" function?

When you join a server, click on your name. You will be given the opportunity to change your name and color. Also, I believe that you can use the /name command in chat. That is, type "/name <YourNewName>" and hit enter.
