The rocket

So i heard about the mode called rocket riot (i'm currently addicted to the demo) and read some plot analysis and played darwinia.

What i wondered was, why do multiwinians need a rocket in the air? my theories were as followed.

 1. The multiwinians want a satillite for prestige or military reasons, to either be the first to get a multiwinian in "space" (i'll get to that later) or to make some kind of orbital weapon or manned spy sattilite.

 2. Transportation, assuming darwinia is shaped like a dyson sphere with the soul repository as central "star" and large continents which might be conquered by the multiwinians, this also gives basis to the futurewinians invading games (MW's start invading an FW continent, they respond by doing the same favor).

 3. Science, assuming the multiwinians descended to savagery, they might be worshipping the repository as a God (every digital soul ascends to it, therefor it is the afterlife) and try a manned mission to the "star".

all of them seem equally feasible to me.

if you have Darwinia watch the prologue Intro and it gives you a rough idea. they're just like us evolving and want to explore.

The intro depicted the world as a dyson sphere composed of big continents with the repository as center which makes me think, does it exert it's own gravity (making an L2 point possible).

PS im just bored and stuck with an old laptop, i begin think about these subjects all the time if i can't game.
