Pause

Postby Ruffian » Thu Sep 25, 2008 4:12 am

Firstly: this game kicks ass. I have been wanting this since the day Darwinia was released. So, Introversion, thank you for answering my prayers.

Onto the subject.
I paused the game one time accidentally. This was cool, because I was hoping there was a way to pause single player games. Unfortunately, I have no clue how I did this. The game was stuck paused, and I had no way of continuing. Does anyone know how to pause and un-pause the game? I didn't find the answer searching the forums, or by reading the manual. Thanks!

Pausing and unpausing the game is accomplished by pressing the button on your keyboard labeled "Pause".

Odd, that. :P
But seriously, it is a very underused key... more developers should use it, as it's one of the few keys on a standard 102-key keyboard that has a clear purpose and is never used for that purpose. I believe the only time I've ever used it before Multiwinia was in attempting to kill things in a windows command line.

Yes, but Macs don't have Pause/Break keys. :(

What am I supposed to do?

I has a right-click! I can't stand one-button mouses. ;)

When running Windows on a Mac the Apple key acts as a Windows key :P
