Support for other Controllers?

Postby mehoo462 » Tue Sep 23, 2008 11:08 pm

I see that Multiwinia supports the Xbox 360 controller. Does it also support identical, non-microsoft controllers? Like Logitech or other brands? IF so, how do you set this up?

Thanks.

As long as they conform to the XInput interface, they should work. If they only supply DirectInput drivers, it won't work currently.

Uh, XInput is for the 360 controllers only. :(

Until someone allows you to create a virtual XInput controller, it isn't possible to map the axis to anything. But the buttons you could quite easily map buttons using a program like PPJoy to the keyboard.

Indeed.

This thwarted my plans for playing with my Wiimote.

The only problem I would actually have would be supporting the thumbstuck on the Nunchuck. I could map it so it operates W, A, S and D but it'd be shit. :(
