Does anyone actually have the Master Player achievement yet?

The way I see it, if no one has it, then no one is capable of getting it. You need to beat someone who is already a Master Player to get it.

It is like the Chicken and the Egg you see. Except more like the Chicken and the other Chicken.

Although they are hard to spot, since they are not labeled or anything. My best bet is to play against random people until I luck against one.

How did they get it? Beta testers perhaps? (In which case, why don't I have it?)

Originally, I had it. I had to hard code the game to give it to my SteamID. Then frenchfrog helped me test the Steam build, so he got it. Then we got some beta tester to help us test the Steam build, and some of them got it.

You're right though, there is no way to see who has the achievement yet, so the best bet would probably be find someone who has it, befriend them, and then play them lots Then people will befriend you and play you lots!

And the problem here is that few Beta testers actually got the steam version, and I'm unsure if any of those actually had the Master Player achievement.

I might get the Steam version eventually, but I don't have the Master Player achievement because of that damn sync error anyway... *grumbles*

Beta tester + steam version here, but not beta tester for the steam version, so no Master player.

Once it started spreading, though, it'll quickly infect anyone who doesn't suck completely.

I guess that's only possible if one actually catches you playing. You know where to find most of us.

I got the Master Player Achievement too but I doubt I'm going to get the Steam version unless I really felt like throwing $20 on a game I've already bought. ^^;

Or Introversion throw everyone who was in the Steam beta some love.

I bet most of you are over in Europe, so I won't get a chance to befriend you and steal the achievement, but I need to try anyway...
Anyone with Master Player want to give it a go?
