yeah if you have vista just open up the sound mixer and you can turn down Multiwinia your self without having to turn it off
but if you dont have vista...pray it gets patched?
Volume Control

I don't use Vista and I don't plan using it even though I could, but i'd be happy too to have in-game volume control.
While I'm also a Ventrilo user (not to mention SkyPE) I could probably manage somehow, but I also lack the simple feature of volume control on my headset. And no, I'm not gonna hack my Sennheiser!

Didn't see this topic at first - posted my own one about this. It is a bit frustrating because I'd like to listen to my own music or play a podcast while playing Multiwinia and that is something I've done with other games - Team Fortress 2 for instance. It's nice to listen to something but then give your hands and eyes something to do at the same time.
I would really love this feature to be integrated. Never knew you could control programs' volumes individually with Vista and I have Vista.

It's not about [ MediaPlayer | TeamSpeak | Ventrilo | whatever ] having it's own volume controls - they have them. But if you crank the volume all the way up to 100%, you're just as loud as Multiwinia, which always uses 100%. So what if you still cannot hear your buddies on TeamSpeak correctly, because the game is too loud? The only option is lowering the volume of the game then.

Exactly. I've turned up the respective volume up to its maximum and Multiwinia's volume is still too loud. Anyway, apparently it's getting fixed... yeh.
