beta copies not valid?

beta copies not valid?

I was under the impression that upon release beta testers would be able to play the full game and their keys would be updated. However I'm not allowed to play with the paying public. Are we gonna be updated in a little while when IV are less stressed or do we have to buy the game? I'm happy to buy but if I don't need to as a student I'd rather not.

it says incompatible so i can't join server. Schwart, has your game been updated to the full version or is it still beta version?

My beta key works with the demo/full (If the demo is the full version. E.g. Like DEFCON.) version. (As far as I'm aware of anyway.)

My beta key didn't work on the preload, but then again I didn't post bugs (or much else) in the beta testing phase and wasn't included in the credits as a tester, so I figured someone just said "WTF is cde doing here?" and nuked my code.

I preordered anyway, so code B worked fine where code A didn't... hope yours comes to life when the full game is out :(

Mine works just fine with the demo version, but I want to buy it to support IV. Or maybe if my beta key still works, instead of buying a copy for myself like I intended, I will instead spend that money on getting my brother a gift copy so he can try it out. :)

I didn't even check the time when I posted, I had already got the early preload update thing & hadn't considered how long it would be until the full release...

My beta code still doesn't work, btw, but I agree with Jelco that it feels somehow "right" to play on the license I paid for so never mind...
