Even though Multiwinia/Darwinia aren't my type of games (I'm usually a FPS player) I would even rate MW a lot higher. Personally I could care less what their review score is, but it could potentially hurt their sales. Someone sees an ad for MW on Steam and then checks it's reviews...I dont know. But it isn't a bad score really but some people would see it like that.

The reviews and all this anticipation is just makin' me ready for release day when I can actually play against people though. Cross fingers and hope there isn't network or authentication issues. *knocks on wood*

This goes back a bit but..

Rkiver, I'm with Xocrates, you are not completely correct, and the option you are talking about is not necessarily a good thing. Read the description in game to understand what we're on about.

Entry on Metacritic has materialized: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/multiwinia

The entry on metacritic has many flaws in the details eg. "Release date September 1 2008" and "2 players".

I stopped listening to IGN waaay back.
Bitching about something that can be changed if you don't like it, or you can just avoid servers with it on,
is pointless. I can't wait to finish the download tomorrow, and I'm fully confident this will rock as hard as DEFCON and Multiwinia.
In fact, it'll rock harder than both put together... because it is. (Check out the Nuke)

I'm pretty sure it will be as good as Multiwinia myself. But certainly not better ;)

Defcon was very nice execution of mulitplayer game, and Multiwinia looks like could do this too but i personally pass it not because of reviews but simply i don't feel like playing mulitplayer rts theses days. If i want to play multiplayer i jump on CoD4 on hardcore and that's just it. Guess i will have to wait x years for another uniqe introvesrion game with story and single player, maybe "cough" Subversion "cough"

I don't think Multiwinia will play like your usual multiplayer RTS. :P

yeh, i wouldn't listen to any reviews till the games online, as only then when all the tactics are flying around and people have learnt the tricks and the setups that are best that we'll be able to judge the game properly.
^^Another amazing comment/statement/question/answer/joke/insult/compliment^^
