Hey, I'm new!

Postby LocoNZ » Sun Aug 31, 2008 7:02 am

Hey, my name is Ben and I live in New Zealand. I downloaded the Darwinia demo today and I love it, I noticed you're releasing a new game like Darwinia called Multiwinia. So I'm going to buy the game but I also want Multiwinia and I was wondering if Introversion will be releasing a pack so that you get Multiwinia and Darwinia. Also if you are, will that pack be available on Steam.

Cheers Ben.

There is such a pack - http://store.introversion.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=61
However, there's no news about a Steam version yet.

In addition, there is a similar such thing coming for the xbox 360 called Darwinia+.

But if you get the 360 version, you won't be able to play with as many of us as you could with the PC version. ;)

It seems reasonably likely that if you wait a while, you'll be able to get Darwinia and Multiwinia together on Steam. But, if you get it from the Introversion store now, it may not be on Steam, but you can get all the awesome shiny things that come along with the limited edition tin! :P

Hate consoles, will never touch the things :D. As much as I want the tin, I don't want to wait 30 freaking days for it. Because I live in NZ it will take forever to get here.

Well if you order the tin I believe you get a download key for the games when they're released anyway, so you'll get Multiwinia if not also Darwinia on the release day. :)

And download Multiwinia as soon as it's released

Sorry, but I don't think this will happen with Multiwinia.

If the release date is the 19th and nothing more will be shipped until the 10th, then why isn't it feasible that boxed orders will arrive promptly/early?

7-9 days is usually plenty of time to ship something small anywhere in the world

True, but Will is just one person, and there are at least 255 copies of the tin to send...

At least 255 copies of Multiwinia to send, if we're assuming the key number is cumulative across both.

I'd assume that a reasonable number of those keys are digital downloads too.
