The top option wasn't the "Sure, I'll take part in a tournament, but terrible things may happen to my fluffwinian" option?

Party tourney plox :(

Jelco

I'd hope there would be more than one bed in the hotel room we get, though if push comes to shove I'm happy to share a bed with whoever if it is necessary.

I promise I won't bite you Mas. ;-;

Disappointed by the slow uptake - this idea really appeals to me. It's been a couple of years since I've done any sewing that wasn't for repair reasons but I'm game to meet up any time with notice. Certainly, this is the sort of thing that should happen more often in the world, so good luck making it happen Goldfish :)

as an FYI I've emailed back saying that about 10 people are interested either way. (online and offline).

Odds are I'll look into running an online tournament a week or two after release, since more people will probably be around to be interested then.

Hi all!

I got an email back today from Martin Mir - sad news I'm afraid, apparently IV (or some aspect of) are not sure it will be feasible to do this offline (no mention of release parties - Obviously they forgot to include LAN play!) - I assume they actaully mean that they're not sure that this can go ahead at the release party, or a day or two outside of it. I have no idea why, no information about why was given, although they were generally positive about an online tournament (although generally positive hasn't gotten anywhere previously).

Those of you who know me, of course, know that I'll politely hound on at them to find out at least why they uncertain about its feasiblity.

Just an FYI, this isn't dead yet!

Plus even if a tourney can't go ahead I might try to get people to sew fluffies to bring.

The issue currently is the ever slipping and murky unknown idea of when the release party is going to actually be.

Suddenly I await certain people sewing fluffses to bring. Not like there isn't a precedent for that kind of thing at that kind of event.

I hate me. I really do.
