So we get the crysis cliffhanger from another point of veiw? I hope its prophet's point of view, that would answer the most questions.
And Jelco, maybe i was wrong about kane edition, but there are a lot of platinum edition game out that are just another NFS, so to speak. THen there are the ones like kane edition, and World in Conflict.(i want a piece of the Berlin Wall!)
I wonder what else is going to be in the multiwinia tin. I have some suggestions,
- Multwinian stickers
- A mini multiwinian toy (maybe keychain)
- Soundtrack
think of more later

Fuck no, it's a marketing trick for selling overpriced stuff to naive people like you.(Believe me, I've seen it when someone at the local retail store showed a special edition that had been ripped open in transport.
Hence whay i didn't pay the extra $20 for the limited edition. I still want a piece of the berlin wall, so i can start a 'historical rock collection', next on my list would be the pyramids, then stonehenge.
It also had a doco about communism, talks with the makers and stuff like that, so it still would have been worth it, even if the concrete rubble in my back yard is older than the rock in the box.
But back to the topic.
Whether a sequal is good or bed depends on 2 things. The first is the original game. I has to be a game where making a sequal won't completely ruin the original. The easiest way to ensure this is to make it another chapter in the story. It's not always the best way though. The second thing is the producers and the choices they make. They have to get it right the first time. Out off all the sequal types mentioned above, there is usually only one or two that are suitable for any particular game.
In terms of darwinia, IV pretty much sealed every gap in the storyline, so to make a continuation of the single player story would have probably gone down as one of the darkest times in IV history. So instead they are taking the base concept and evolving it into a whole new game, which i think is the best move they could have done.
