Subversion looks a lot like Frozen Synapse 2... oh wait

So yeah, appart from the funny title, I don't really wish to fan any fire or feed any species of troll... but it really really looks to me like the latest Frozen Synapse opus is REALLY looking pretty much exactly like the Subversion previews we had the opportunity to see 4-5 yrs ago.
Do we know anything about that? I would love a comment from the team, if this was something arranged between Introversion and Mode7, basically trying to guess if this is an hommage or a rip-off
