City Generator
Something creative should be done with it.
Hello,
I was already buy others introversion game so now I was buy it in Humble Bundle to acces at Tech Demo, specialy City Generator. So when I see video presentation :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pR8jpK4ETk
I haven't the same rendering. It's possible to have the same "style.txt" file ?
And when I see the others video like :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG41yYBD-rE
Or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J30i0gABfS8
Missing the GUI and other HUD information ?
It's possible to add it in the Tech Demo in the Humble Bundle ?
It would not be the first time we have an update...
This is my unique reason of my purchase (City Generator)...
It's a little request no ?
PS: Sorry English isn't my natural language...

FBX Export?!?!?
Very proud of having the city generetor!
Please let us access the polys on the city, as X or FBX or DAE, I do assume there is full polygonal data in there, it would be very nice to be able to import to sketchup and then, after some customization, to an Engine of choice (Unity Here)
Happy XMas!

I suppose Chris never got around to straightening out the bugs.
The park seems to overlap the road in this plaza.

Now this is just silly. This skyscraper is paper-thin, it would never be declared architecturally sound in real life. There's another one taking the piss behind it. And why is it transparent at the top?

What on earth happened here?

It's a bit odd to have this skyscraper all the way out in this backwater, isn't it?

You're a little late to the party.

I've been using these as wallpapers.
I thought it was cool to cycle through them, but doing it manually quickly became cumbersome. After sifting through several automatic wallpaper changers, I found this. The (often-ness?) of the switch can be changed from every hour, to every time you log on, to every 12 hours, etc. I had a little trouble with it in the beginning because it would put this annoying border around an image after it switched. I did a little tinkering with the layout settings and it eventually stopped. It has been working beautifully ever since.
I would really appreciate some larger city screenshots. My computer is crap, and it takes 5ever to load the city. And the FPS shoots down to single digits.
Sorry Mac users

Do you have a iMac? Sorry we're not cool enought for you :^)
Sorry Mac users
I've just gotta ask, xander... Why do you choose Mac?
(prepare yourself - the following post probably contains A TON of misinformation that I lazied out of looking up)
I can understand some of the points - no viruses being the main one... But most of the pros' source is a very major design choice by Apple: user friendliness. Not the kind you see in most places, but instead making everything fool-proof: Apple turns to the biggest market, the people who don't know jack about computers. People who won't understand what an IP address does (let alone how it works) even if you explain it to them for an hour. People who can't install/update a driver if the instructions are right in front of them. People who can't grasp the logic behind usage of a computer.
This is why they take care of everything, streamline everything, and even control everything - they do it because their average customer wouldn't have been able to use their product if they hadn't. They have "Genius bars" so that they're customers will always have someone to turn to when they face a problem they can't fix, big or small. I mean absolutely no disrespect for those types of people, and I think what Apple does for them is great. (Their money-grabbing and assholey attitude isn't as great, but that's not important right now)
What I don't understand is why you, who definitely isn't one of those people, would prefer it so much over the alternatives. I'm not talking about Windows - why not Linux? What makes Macs so great and so much better, for a guy who could actually compare them for what they really are with the other OS's?
