A hat and a smile might get you places, however cheesy that may sound.

I'm doing my bit to try to get more people to play the game.

I have been a fan of IV's games for a while since I got hold of a friends copy of Uplink (yeah sorry). I did try to play Darwinia but I never got along with it and so I didn't buy it based on about 10 minutes of confusion. That was obviously it till DEFCON came along a game I love and promptly bought after my first game in the demo and still love to this day.

Obviously after my initial dislike of Darwinia I was reluctant to even try Multiwinia so I didn't. Not even the demo. That is however until this weekend when I bought the Best of Indie pack on Steam which has multiwinia in it and so I decided that even though I didn't like it's predecessor I'd force myself through the tutorial till atleast the game made sense.

Well I did and I love the game now and I've been trying to get everyone to at least try the demo with me. I think having someone on a VoIP service helps with being explained the game a little. I have already got 1 friend to buy it and several others are interested but want more time with the demo.

So yeah just a note to say that if 1 disbeliever can be turned they will go spread the word. I think the fact that it was uber cheap via steam on the weekend helped. Maybe putting all the Introversion games on a weekend deal at 50% off would shift sales along of all the games.

Oh and I think this is my first proper post since I signed up like 2 years ago so um hello everyone. :D

Save Multiwinia

multiwinia is just awesome for multiplayer, but I had a hard time getting used to it after Darwinia :( I wish there were more story-based campaigns for multiwinia, even though that's not exactly the point of the game

Maybe someone could make a mod for multiwinia or darwinia - a series of maps that tell of darwinia's fall into chaos

funnily enough the story that I had planned out for the big mod ends (after part 6) in a situation similar to multiwinia, however I'm afraid I *really* don't have the time to make another 3 episodes of it, and tbm wasn't exactly wildly popular :P

Okay, how about this:
When DNF comes out, I want to have played all the rest of The Big Mod.
