I wouldn't immediately say yes. We'll find out what horrible things Channel 4 insists on having changed because of what sells to <target demographic X> and whether or not IV get away with telling them to get stuffed.

That too. This is what makes me suspect C4 is just doing the funding and getting the sales money, with nothing else in between.

If it was the BBC I'd say possibly. But it's a case of C4 approaching IV, offering money, and letting them do their thing.

Sold out? No.

This phrase is the perfect description of an ideal game.

Chris wrote:We spent a long time looking for a fulltime writer, and worked through nearly 50 applicants until we hit on the right guy for the job – a writer named Chris Hastings, who's sample work was a league ahead of the competition. Chris and myself have been working closely together in Cambridge during this three month period and that Chronometer document has now expanded into a whole project folder with scripts, pictures, maps, flow charts, production plans, budgets, the whole lot. We’ve spent a lot of time moving post-it notes around on a giant board, trying to piece together the structure of this new game.

Another Author you might want to check out -- for future projects -- is Tom Siddell. He works in the industry on your side of The Pond and publishes an *Amazing* comic online: Gunnerkrigg Court. He has a real gift for the mechanics of story and his artwork has evolved quite a bit from the first page (linked), and can be quite spectacular when drawing robots n stuff. Be forewarned, you must read the comic from start to finish -- the story constantly back-references itself and ties up earlier open questions (only to open 2x more!) -- and is addictive, so you will probably "lose" several hours once you start.

Probably all you need to know about Tom is contained in his bio page, which consists almost solely of wack MSPaint sketches of himself: http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/about.html

So now there's two Chris-es? What's the other Chris's forum name going to be? Chris 2? The Other Chris? I'm dying to know! Also, same goes for Chronometer.

Damn, and 10 days ago would have been exactly six months, too.

Reading a lot on the web about Introversion, and now in 2013 found this... It seems that this title could be made once introversion is able to produce AAA games

Woah! A four-and-a-half year bump?!

Impressive.
I may have a paltry number of posts, but I've been around since the Pre-Nakatomi days.

I don't want to give anyone ideas, so!
