Grand Theft Planet maybe? Steal anything from a car to an election. Crazy gunman or Corporate Raider, the choice is yours. And when a city is so violent and out of control that it threatens to destabilize the rest of your empire, bring a DefCon esk. screen and the whole damned place is gone with the blastwave.

I'm thinking... MMO.

Real programmers steal Randall Munroe's jokes.

So my guess is that Subversion will be an instanced system cracking simulator, wherein fuzzy algorithms produce entire cities, each building with randomized security systems which you have to write programs to bypass and hack into. Essentially like Uplink, but with much more depth. Not only will it be moddable, but it will actually encourage people to write code simply to play the game. It could even have mmo potential.

While IV often does things that are a bit esoteric, I think what you describe is a bit beyond the pale. ;)

You're probably right. It would need more guns. And prostitutes.

And you'd probably have to take it slightly further than java, with drag and click programming language:

The Census Bureau is hiring at $14 per hour. You might consider putting in an application.

I found it quite nice to use and it feels more OO than Python does. I am not sure how easy it is to embed though. I have looked at embedding Python in the past and found quite a lot of documentation on it, but didn't turn up as much documentation for Ruby.
