Postcard from GDC

Tom, Mark and Vicky are all currently over in San Francisco, attending this years GDC. They're speaking in five different events and presenting the IGF grand prize to this years winners. They've only been there one day and have already sent back this fantastic shot from the GDC lobby.

This picture the IGF organisers used for their posters is one of those shots you just can't fake. IGF 2006 will always be a very special moment in Introversion's history and this pic just totally captures it.

You guys need to talk to the organisers. I can't imagine that they would have any use for the poster after it's all over, so, maybe you could convince them to let you have it. Not sure how you'd get it back, or, where you'd put it, but, hell, it would be a nice thing to have. In fact, if the top and bottom bars could be removed, it'd be relatively easy to fold and transport (though, it may crease). Then you'd just have to find a wall it would fit on. That may be harder.

Usually Conferences it is a golden rule to bag/obtain/nick/run off with guards chasing you any conference goodies. This must be worth 100points ;)

(I felt sucking up would be better than accusing neo of copying my idea. Since, well, the whole stealth edit and banning thing doesn't sound fun.)

I hope someone is filming as much as possible. And hopefully, there'll be less injury from flying foam Darwinians this year :D

Darksun, they're obviously lobbing fluffy darwinians around this year ;)

and hopefully they'll have fluffy nuclear warheads for next year :lol:
