I like the white-on-blue blueprint look. If we're being pedantic, you probably want an elevator 'foyer' in the same place on each level, and security access stairs. Incidentally, I'm surprised that no-one has yet mentioned the 'Mission Impossible'-style game brief mentioned on a server in Uplink - which is not to say that that is what I suspect it is.

Anyway, this is all well and good, but what the hell happened to the Tassel of Doom?

EDIT: What's the bet the first mod available will change the title screen from Subversion to Updefwinia ;)

If this is the description of the "Arena" and how it works, I have a suggestion for gameplay...
Many games have a point at which the player is
struck in the head
drugged
wounded
earthquake etc. etc.
Usually, those games would have a time period where the input controls go sluggish, or backwards etc.
In Myst, the permanent surroundings are changed, and normal paths have changed.
So, what if:
The player gets "subverted"
The whole "Arena" becomes a new one? The blue-gray city has become a red-brownstone.
The way in to your office is no longer the same as the way out.
I think computer memory gets corrupted, but human memory gets subverted.

Don't try extrapolating from the name, it's just a cool word with 'ersion' in it. Introversion isn't so called because they're introverted.

And, of course <bad pun> if they were called Extraversion, they'd have to make olive oil </bad pun>

If you are truly stuck trying to figure out which codec you need, you can try something like this

www.codecs.com is a surprisingly good way of finding codecs.

I'm beginning to think that this whole blog thing is just some kind of publicity stunt. Tryin' ta f*ck with our minds, maan, that sort of thing.

In other words, I now have in my head an algorithm that is astonishingly simple, yet can single-handedly generate a city from the satellite view all the way down to the desks and chairs within a room. Is it a coincidence that the world follows such a pattern at every level? I think not. And I’m starting to wonder how far in these patterns go – I wonder if I investigated the layout of an average office workers desk, I’d see the same subdivision occurring, with phone / monitor / keyboard / mouse occupying each subdivided space.

This idea sounds very similar choas theory, it is on this idea which DNA codes for everything from the entire shpae of our lungs to the shape of a leaf. It comes from a very simple equation that repeats itself. It's an amazing phenomenon but i don't know too much about it but it's worth cheecking out if you're interested.

Although this sentence is a rather good lie, it is ultimately and definitely wrong. (yes, I know this is a bit off-topic, but it is a common misconception that DNA defines a lot more than it actually does.)

So do we still share 92% of our DNA with bannanas? Micheal Cricton said we did.
