You can, of course, read additional recommendations from the UK government, but if you ask me, I am sure the destination is safe. And you can travel there alone. My wife went to Scotland alone because I had to work. She booked Scottish Highlands and Islands Jeep tours and they arranged everything perfectly safe for her.
