Can I visit the IRS office without an appointment?

The IRS owes me money from a refund for the year 2020, I have not received it yet and I can’t get ahold of them no matter how many times I try. I’m at the point where I’m planning to visit without an appointment because I can’t get ahold of anyone to schedule it. Has anyone showed up to their offices without an appointment? I tried using the self service and automated phone calls but I get no information about my refund that I should’ve received a long time ago.

As far as I know, you really can come to the IRS office without an appointment without any problem and solve all your questions. Personally, I've always done that, but I recently moved to Kansas and needed to find an IRS office to declare some things and solve some tax problems. I was very lucky to stumble upon a website where I was able to find all the information on irs kansas city mo office. After visiting it, I had all my questions quickly resolved.
