Can you get rid of Santa in Defcon please?

Every time Defcon goes on sale during the holidays, many new players are turned off by the fact that the tutorial becomes unplayable because Santa crashes the game. They load up the game, try the tutorial, the game crashes, and then they probably never try playing the game again. At this time there are dozens of complaints in the Steam Defcon Discussion forums for this issue.

3 years ago in this thread (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7956&start=15) Chris said they were working on a fix, but we never got it.

Since you guys are so busy with Prison Architect, could you please just remove Santa from the Steam version of Defcon? You would probably have to remove the Steam Achievement for nuking him too. Most new players do not even notice that Santa is flying around the map, and no one really finds it amusing.

Also, if the Steam version of Defcon was updated, it would interest players who have the game in their Steam library when they see that it received a recent update. Defcon could also appear in the "Recently Updated" section of Steam, which could get you more sales.

I understand if you can't do this because you do not have the time, and I know that it is very easy for you to ignore it year after year, since it is only temporary. But if it is a simple thing to just make the Steam Defcon version the same as the standalone Defcon version, and if you think it wouldn't break anything, could you pretty please do it?
