I clicked on a kitchen link and got sent a "Win32.Revelation.A"
Should I be worried?

Why? It's like saying: this is a virus, click on it ---> *virus*

Well, how do you know it was a Win32.Revelation.A? You got an firewall/antivirus that warned you? If so, almost sure it's configuration is to clean/delete/not letting enter those kind of files, so it's not a big deal. Many times when going on unknown websites, it happens stuff like that, but since a firewall and an antivirus have their database database, there isn't big worries. To be sure, run more software once every month, something like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, so if you have something more that weren't detected by your antivirus, it should clean.

When I was at Uni a mate of mine (at the time), who was also a 3rd year IT student, got a virus on his computer. When I went over to help him remove it, he asked me, genuinely puzzled and pointing to the window in his room, "Do you think it got the virus because I left the window open?".
He didn't finish Uni.
