The captives were pretty quiet after the first several hours, except for a couple of loud complainers who jumped up and down demanding things. This attracted a worker, however, he was unable to repair any items.
One of the kitchen staff dropped off the next meal, a bunch of eggs, and then scurried back to the stove. Right afterwards, a growl was heard in MeatNit's cell.

What kind of prison feeds it's inmates at 1am. This is ridiculous, I try and have a nap and now all 3 of my my eggs are cold! They didn't even make then runny.
I wonder if MeatNit found a cow... that would kind of explain the noise... Cows growl right?

....*sigh*....
....Everything looks so dull and dreary.... Even eggs - one of my three favourite foods along with bacon and soup (any flavour) - taste of nothing.... WHY eggs, WHY?
....I blame Mas Tnega for upsetting the cook....

With 80 minutes left on the clock before lights-out, the group starts placing votes. Laika_rus slurs his vote, most likely from the expired eggs the cook served. MeatNit also goes into a crazy episode, blurting out how cows are part of a conspiracy, all started by the Illuminati. One of the prisoners from another cell block yells through the door something about killing a worker named Jelco.
All in all, it's a strange start to the furry purge of Cell Block IV.
