Ideology-2010!

Postby Feud » Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:19 am

You guys might remember this thread from days of yore, and I thought that it might be fun to take a bearing on how the forum leans these days.*

Note: The questions are slanted based upon the quiz authors American Libertarian outlook, so just do your best. :wink:

For those looking for the quiz, it may be found here:

I fell pretty close to where I usually am, a little closer to center than what it was back in the day (which makes sense to me due to a few changes in my outlook on things).

Well that's interesting, I'm roughly sitting with Gandhi.

Most of the questions weren't that engaging/opinion inducing so I didn't use the strongly option that much. At least, until I came to the 5th and 6th page. I had very clearly defined opinions of those. Probably because they appealed to my ethical standards/morals.

In case you're interested, I made two slight modifications to your code. First, switch the order the lines are drawn so the grid doesn't cut through the axis. Second, can choose data set with a query string.

Code: Select all

<?php
$imgwidth = 360;
$textsize = 8;
$dotdiameter = 9;
$font = 'arial.ttf';

if (isset($_GET['set']) && $_GET['set'] == 0) {
   $data = array(
      'Ace Rimmer' => array(-1.5, 3.28),
      'Darksun' => array(-6.88, -6.87),
      'Feud' => array(2, 2.36),
      'jelco' => array(-2.75, -1.23),
      'KingAl' => array(-5.5, -7.38),
      'martin' => array(-1.88, -0.87),
      'Mas Tnega' => array(-4.38, -1.38),
      'microchip08' => array(-2.62, -2.21),
      'Montyphy' => array(-6.75, -3.33),
      'NeoThermic' => array(-2.38, -4.10),
      'Rkiver' => array(-6.38, -4.87),
      'The GoldFish' => array(-4.38, -5.44),
      'xander' => array(-8, -6.51),
      'Xarlaxas' => array(-7.75, -2.15),
      'Xocrates' => array(-3.75, -3.90),
      'vanarbulax' => array(-7.12, -5.33)
   );
}
else {
   $data = array(
      'Ace Rimmer' => array(-0.25, 1.13),
      'elexis' => array(-3.88, -2.46),
      'Feud' => array(1.25, 1.23),
      'martin' => array(-3.38, -3.69),
      'Mas Tnega' => array(-3.50, -1.54),
      'Montyphy' => array(-5.00, -3.13),
      'Xarlaxas' => array(-8.88, -2.51),
      'Xocrates' => array(-3.75, -4.10),
      'vanarbulax' => array(-6.12, -5.95)

   $texty = $y + ($dotdiameter / 2);

   imagettftext($img, $textsize, 0, $textx, $texty, $colourlines, $font, $key);
