In slightly related news there appears to be a large swing away from Labor (our liberal party, major party) towards the Greens (our well, green party, minor party). The Liberal party (our conservative party, other major party) is apparently eager to poach some of the Labor defectors, but they clearly haven't heard of the political spectrum and/or are delusional since Liberal and Greens are on opposite sides of the spectrum.

So, just so we're all clear, I'm not a socialist, right?

My political education (and anyone else with even the slightest grasp of political theory) says "no", but angry tea party folk keep saying yes.

It looks more like we're converging to (-3.5, -4.0) than (0.0, 0.0).

That observation is most likely due to the fact there are more of you (fake and/or non-American) than us (American).

Looks like I've become a lot more central on the left/right scale from last time, and stayed about the same on the libertarian/authoritarian scale. Not what I expected at all!

The trend is interesting. I suspect that's something to do with reading too much Cory Doctorow.
