Personally, I'm voting for Rio.

Brazil really fascinates me, I've met a lot of really great people from there and I'm really interested in where the country is headed over the next few decades.

There was the FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan in 2002 though. I support Brazil because I don't think any tournament of such size has taken place in South America since I was born.

Brazil is getting the FIFA WC after South Africa, in 2014, so it's really a surprise that they're getting both that and the Olympics next to one another. IOC could end up with major egg on their faces if the world cup goes badly though.

I think it's a great disappointment that Antarctica never gets considered for the Olympics. With that in mind I would like to nominate the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station.

To be fair, several hosts have a territorial claim on Antartica. Although admittedly there was never an event taking place there.
