True Colour 32 Bit? =/

Ok so im trying to run TES: Morrowind on an old laptop but having troubling initiating the game. Says i need to change my resolution to support True Colour 32 Bit? how does one do this? i assumed it was just a change in the display settings to 32 bit colour...but doesn't seem to be the case O_o can i even do this with the laptop? any help is appreciated

Try adjusting the the resolutions from your desktop and see what happens to the colour depth. That will give you an indication of what res you will need. Also note that while the colour depth will automatically decrease as the resolution increases, it may not automatically do the reverse.
