TWG: Dog Eat Dog World, Terran Empire Invades!

Postby Ace Rimmer » Wed Jun 10, 2009 5:35 pm

Day 1
Night 1
Day 2
Night 2
Day 3
Night 3
Day 4
Night 4
Day 5

Maybe too early, maybe not, but I love TWG's and thought a Trek themed one would be fun. Probably will be standard format, not sure yet. More to come later after thinking about out it. For now, sign up in bold, and go where many have gone B-4.

Rules: Standard. Roles, not revealed upon death

GA
Seer
Vigilante
Wolf (mirror-universe)

Participants:

 1. xander Ambassador, Romulan Day 4
 2. bert_the_turtle Lieutenant Commander, Vulcan Day 2
 3. Xarlaxas Lieutenant Night 2
 4. Mas Tnega Lieutenant, Klingon Night 3
 5. ynbniar Lieutenant, Junior Grade, Antican Day 6
 6. RabidZombie Lieutenant, Junior Grade, Aaamazzarite Night 4
 7. jelco Redshirt (teehee) Obligatory non-main-character-death.
 8. Phelanpt Ensign, Bynar Win! Enabled the invasion from Terran Empire to move ahead.
 9. Vicious Ensign, Betelgeusian Night 5
 10. zjoere Ensign "Chef" Iotian Day 5
 11. Pox, Ensign Day 3
 12. MaximusBrood Merchant Passenger, Ferengi Day 1

Taking a bit of license with the races. I mean, an Aaamazzarite looks like a zombie, right? :P

As long as it's original Star Trek, TNG, or DS9, I'll be in!

Enterprise, Voyager, and JJ Trek can burn in the pits of Hull!

These sensors give strange readings.

My scenario vote goes to an invasion from the Mirror Universe. Not those shapeshifters that somehow only can produce decent nose and ears when they're impersonating someone.

Also, logic dictates that I express my preference for the Vulcan race. Any rank is fine.

Let me be a Romulan in a blue shirt, and I'm in. By the way, redshirts are not all ensigns---the color of ones shirt has nothing to do with rank. Rather, it has to do with what role they play on the ship. Command is gold/yellow, security and engineering are red, and science and medical are blue.

By the way, I like bert_the_turtle's suggestion of an alternate universe scenario.

Ship's computer predicted there was a 95% chance you would select Vulcan.

Also, TNG is the most likely version, the most likely setting an away mission gone awry. Still pondering the possibilities.

Just thinking off the top of my head, bonuses may be given to ship's crew and passengers that exhibit characteristics one would expect from TNG-esque beings. None of which would effect the outcome of the game.

Edit: I am aware of the different colors for different career field, I was simply referring to the old red-shirt's gonna be the one to die meme.

Edit2: Hehe, amazingly there's even a wikipedia page on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redshirt_(character)

I know you were referring to the meme, but you also gave them the rank of ensign. Any rank can be a redshirt. ;)

Sir, it is my duty to remind you of Starfleet Regulation 12, Chapter 4, which forbids Captains to go on away missions.

Just getting into annoying character. And yes, I looked that up. And of course, that regulation is more frequently ignored than the prime directive.

Also, you can't really have just one Bynar. Phelanpt needs to be a pair of them. [/nitpick]
