Less than one hour warning!

Day 1 ends at 16h47 GMT+1.
After that, no votes will be counted.

You may continue talking until I post the lynch scene.

If it's not too late, I retract my vote for Jelco and vote for Bertinstead. Sorry, but with the PM he just sent me I can't help but be sure of his wolfyness.

He claimed I was a wolf partnered with either zjoere or ynbniar. Hmm, sorry, I'm not. Pretty bold claims for day 1.

Edit: Blegh, it's too late isn't it. (Need to learn his timezones better.)

RZ, it's too late.
Sorry for the delay. Posting Lynch scene.

A note: Unvotes should be done on the same post you vote. Example:
Unvote
Vote: Phelanpt

I will not count votes if not unvoted/retracted in this way in the future.

Tehehe. Indeed, I did send that PM RZ is talking about, and of course, I have no proof of my accusations (how could I?). I'm merely going with what we have: Almost everyone voted for someone nobody else had voted before, with three exceptions:
- ynbniar broke the pattern by putting a second vote on zjoere for no reason
- zjoere retaliated with a vote on ynbniar
- RZ put a second vote on jelco for no reason
Which may of course be just all random unrelated actions, but also RZ defending one of the other two two vote victims. Why wouldn't he just put a third vote on a human to get a better defense? Well, a), it would be more obvious right away, and b), roles are revealed on death, so acts of defense are possible to spot afterwards when we know the roles, especially if the defense fails. I agree this isn't enough evidence for a public accusation, but it was enough to send a poking PM. We'll have more data tomorrow, I'm reluctant to judge by RZ's response alone.

Day 1 lynch: ynbniar

Postby Phelanpt » Wed Jun 03, 2009 6:19 pm

Ace turns Phelanpt's room upside down, but can't find any silver bullets. He leads the others in the funeral, which wasn't more than the digging of a grave, and few babbled words about how you should have listened to the stranger, and that you should have gotten to know him better.
Everyone keeps looking sideways, afraid the werewolves will tire of the game and attack during the day.

You all gather in the village square, and start looking at each other suspiciously. The first to speak is xander: "I've always found jelco suspicious, even before tonight. He's one of the werewolves."

It seems everyone was just waiting for someone to start, since accusations immediately start flying around.

In the end, three people are rounded up. Jelco, ynbniar and zjoere stand terrified of the mob around them, discussing how to pick between them, and the method of execution.

Someone brings some dice from yesterday's games at the tavern, and another brings some rope.
"Roll them!", the mob cries. The three of them do. Two dice stop rolling fast, both with the same high number. The last one rolls farther, and stops on a 1.

Everyone looks at ynbniar, with anger in their eyes.

Four men grab him and drag him to the edge of the forest. A rope is tied and thrown over a high branch. A stool is placed beneath and ynbniar is forced to stand on it while the noose is put around his neck.

He starts to growl and change right then and there, but it's too late. One of you kicks the stool from under his feet, and you can see his wolfish shape struggle with the noose, dancing in the air. He manages to say a few words and then eventually stops moving. You decide not to take any chances, and grab your axes, pitchforks and other tools, and tear him apart in revenge for the night's actions.

There's no need to search his room, the patches of grey fur, now stained red, show you his true nature.

ynbniar died Day 1, he was a Werewolf!

It is now Night 1.
All players with night actions should now send them to me.
Night 1 will end 24 hours from this post.

Yeah, I was going to go back, but I realised it was too late so didn't bother.

One hour till the end of Night 1.

And additional clarification regarding retract/unvote: You vote on post X. On post X+4 you decide you want to change your vote to someone else. You need to put an unvote/retract on post X+4.
Example:
X wrote:Vote: Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Film

X+4 wrote:Unvote
Vote: Phelanpt

Hope this is clearer.
