COD4 levels
COD4 levels
I've recently been re-playing it through, as last time I only did it on hardened, so it's only fair that I do it again on Veteran. Most of it's ok, I can do it just fine, then we get to my favourite level(s): All Ghillied up and the one after it. These are the two levels where you play as previous Captain Price, the sniper. These levels are great, but the very end of the secnd one, the bit with the playground/ferris wheel annoys the crap out of me. I spent 1.5 hours trying to do this level, trying different strategies, using claymores/C4, hiding round near the buildings, which worked, until the chopper came, when I either died or it took more than 30 seconds for me to pick up whats-his-name and get back safetly. Eventually I succeed by camping next to him with an ring of mines around me and an AK47, and maybe this is just proof that I suck at FPSes, but this part of the level just seems disproportionally hard compared to everything before/after it.
Anyways, I'm done raging, and was just wondering whether anyone else shared my oppinion.

I wouldn't know, because my damn ATi card keeps crashing!
I've been told it's the PSU, but my dad refuses to believe me D:
"What you have is a gamer's computer, it has been tested by 3 people bla bla bla..."
What he doesn't understand is that, apparently, my TR2 550 is not enough for a HD 4850. Or so I've been told.
It just CAN'T be anything else.

Yes, but it wont solve the problem of his ATI card not working. ATI cards are notoriously annoying to set up in linux. My gaming laptop has one, and I once spent 14 hours trying to make it work, before fixing it in the last hour in a fluke.
Anyways, good to hear that wasn't just me
Couldn't you just go buy a bigger PSU from a swap meet/computer store and swap em out?
