Wow. That's OLD.
I hope I'm never that OLD.

OOOOOOLLLLLDDDDDD
old

I used to say the same thing many years ago. And guess what, I am still here.
I dare say you WILL make it to my ripe old age and beyond. Just think how good DEFCON
will be in 20 or thirty years. :D

We do apparently have one other user aged somewhere between 41 and 45 and another between 56 and 60. They might be lying.

mibias wrote:Sure thing, Gramps
Didn't Brad Pitt teach you any manners?
1. You do not call him Gramps.
2. You DO NOT call him Gramps.

That's good then - nuclear war is a game for all ages, young, old and all those in between, like me.

Thanks for sticking up for me too - at 43 I am way too young to be considered Gramps-like. I
don't know the Brad Pitt quote though - guess I have spent too many years working and gaming
and not enough time at the movies.

On another matter I have been fortunate enough to be able to sit in as a spectator on a few good games
over the last few nights. That and days worth of going through the forum here reading and reading posts on
tactics etc has been very helpful. To all those here that have taken the time to provide information and tutorials
etc, a big thank you - without such, the learning curve would be a tad steeper.

All the best for now.

:)

I'm fourteen, male, turning fifteen this August.

Born in New Jersey to Taiwanese parents and raised in Hong Kong, though I'm currently studying in an all-Chinese boarding school in China.

I speak English mainly and I'm fluent in all aspects of the language, alongside English I'm fluent in speaking and listening Chinese but I can't read or write a word to save my life.

Among the things I value on the internet are proper English spelling and grammar, but usually when I mention that the forums or IRC channels start typng lyk dis jus 2 annoy me. (Come to think of it, it was the Uplink portion of this forum that got me to start spelling normally back in 2006.)

I also take an interest in computer hardware and I've dabbled a bit into C++, VB and some other languages.
My home computer is a self-built with an Asus Vento TA-982 case, an Asus P5Q-L PRO motherboard, Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 "Yorkfield" @ 2.33GHz, a nVidia GeForce 9800GTX+ (512) with eight gigabytes of Kingston DDR2 800MHz RAM and a combined harddrive space of about one thousand five hundred gigabytes.

Concluding my rather long a/s/l reply, I apologize for the wall of text and..

Well too be honest there's not much else.

20/m/Germany-Hamburg-Uni (economics and CS)

Born in England though (moved to Germany in 2000).

edit: (and I'm apparently important enough to have a whole page for myself 8) (or maybe the other pages just don't like me :( ) (or maybe there is simply a max. amount of posts per page :| ))
