Decided to get the steam deal. Sigh.

This brings the count to: Uplink 0, Darwinia 3, Defcon 1, Multiwinia 3

Silent Hunter 5 is coming out in 2010. Anyone else looking forward to it?

Finally got The Void in the steam sale at half price (only $10), even if it turns out to be too frustrating to play at least I should find it interesting and a change from the usual.

3 copes of Darwinia (original, limited tin and Steam) and 4 copes of Multiwinia (limited tin, beta, Steam beta, Steam). In fact, the beta is still in my Steam account. That'll probably get annoying at some point. :P
The i key not working? ;)

If you count the copies that IV gave me to give away as prizes for the contests I've held and the keys I was given by various people for various Dedwinia servers, my copy total is this: 2x Uplink, 2x Darwinia, 2x Defcon, 6x Multiwinia. Currently left: 1x Uplink, 1x Darwinia, 1x Defcon and 5x Multiwinia (with all MW keys in use for Dedwinias).

Oh, and the max Foamwinian count I've had is 15 although the total is 19. (Also because of contests.) It's currently sitting at 9, including all versions of all colours.

I've been hopelessly addicted to SHIV for almost a year now, can't wait for 5. :D

I played SHII back in the day. It was abysmal. Hard to believe they stuck around long enough to make another three...

Two was the low point of the series, III got back to the roots and is generally seen as the best one all around (resulting in strong sales), and IV did well since it was a lot like III but with better graphics and from the American side of things.

IGF finalists announced.

I'm going to take a look and report back with my predictions.

Reading through that, Super Meat Boy and Monaco sound like things to look forward to.

It seems an difficult year to predict. The fact that very few of those games have any kind of demo or playable version out doesn't help.

Anyway, for the grand prize I would say probably Super Meat Boy, although Monaco and Trauma may have good chances.

Other games that I might be interested in, I would say Shank, Owlboy, Miegakure, and Tuning.
