It was about 6 months ago. I don't imagine most reasonably big titles like that continue to have high sales past their first few months, so a sale like this is probably raking in a lot more money for them that it has been recently.

Also - loving Mass Effect 2 so far!

Finished Mass Effect 2 last night. It's hard to express quite how awesome a game it is.

Splosion Man on sale this week. Yeah, yeah, I'll shut up about it already.

Also, Bit Trip Beat (WiiWare) is fun and has good coop. It does the annoying thing of forcing you to replay the whole level after you failed, without an opportunity to train the later, harder, bits of it, and the levels are rather long (15 minutes), so a bit of frustration tolerance is required, and old school memorizing. And it's only three levels. I guess it goes more after the highscore hunter crowd. Everything offline only, of course. But it gives you that nice, fuzzy feeling of almost getting overwhelmed with what the game throws at you.

Mass Effect 2 was great, well worth the wait. Now I want more...

Steam released the AVP MP demo. It's pretty average. Free for all deathmatch? Annoying. Playing as the humans is incredibly unsatisfying, the guns are all stale and you are quite weak when compared to the very power aliens or predators. Match making is a joke, hardly an options to all. Feels just like a console port. Think I'll keep my money and spend it on Bioshock 2 instead.

That's how the first one was, it's all about team work...

I may do, just because that trailer completely disregarded everything that happened in the last 15 years. Like it damned well should.

After the number of times that Sonic has been bent over and raped by Sega, I find it hard to hope. And yet, I do. :\

I've been hopeful since the announcement was first made. All this trailer does is make me curse Sega for only having 3 seconds of actual game footage in there!
Still, the implication that we are going to get more than one of these is very welcome, assuming they do it well.
