Steam sale personal recommendations of the day:

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light for 5.10€ (Seriously, the only excuse you have not to get this is if you already own it)

Bioshock 2 for 9.99€. As I mentioned previously, I really liked this one. It's not as memorable as the first but it's more fun and more mature.

...too late Super Meat Boy was too tempting even though I'll despair... :?

I have it, it's not bad. Not really worth $15 in my opinion, but I still don't regret spending my $15 on it.
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

Glad I got Super Meat Boy...seems to be a mix of Knytt Stories and N but it's got that X factor like World of Goo does.

Probably need a new sixaxis soon :!:

Heads up! People who got the Humble Indie 2 just got the first one too!

People who haven't can get the two of them so long as they pay as much or more than the average donation.

I feel quite special having been in the first 1,500 (out of ~180,000) to buy Humble Bundle 2, although I'd be surprised if I beat everyone on this board. I just noticed that the Obulis soundtrack is available to download too, so I'm feeling happy today.

In other news, I went and bought SMB for £3, and then gifted another copy to a friend as a Christmas present, who has then turned round and sent a £20 game in my direction. I'm now feeling quite guilty; any suggestions on what to do, other than to stop putting expensive games on my wishlist? (Do I send him a more expensive gift?)

No, you take what you get and you stop giving. You just made 17 pounds of profit and now you're complaining, asking what to do?! Men, you're bunkers..

The return gift may have been more expensive, but is it better than SMB? I don't think so.

You're taking what they give you and you keep it inside.. 10 JJ points for anyone who knows from which song this is.
