Games for 2009... And BEYOND!

The place to hang out and talk about totally anything general.

God dammit... Welcome the fuck back Deepsmeg. Fuck.

Yes, that would be a reasonable conclusion.
Kind of having trouble finding the different endings though... I've got Knife, Submarine, and Axe (or "Ax" as they call it in-game). Already tried twice more without getting a different ending... Not quite sure what the conditions are. In the end you always end up choosing between door 1, 2 or 6 when you read your own paper, which correspond to the three endings I've reached.

Could you give me any hint without just plainly giving it away? I don't want to read up a walkthrough. I have an idea that it might be dependent on the clover, but I don't really see it doing much.

The other two routes don't share a single door. For one of them, taking the goddamn hint he's giving you.

I'm TRYING but nothing makes sense anymore!!

less to the point, all of the hints in escape sections just makes things way too easy. Before I even get a chance to try, they spell it out for me and the rest is just being a drone. There's very few cases where any actual thought is needed.

"Junpei"
"What?"
"Nevermind"

Know what? I don't WANT to listen to her. She's not helping.

Interesting thought that struck me today: Forza 5 will be Xbox One, Gran Turismo 6 will be PS3. I personally consider Gran Turismo inferior, but having to buy a new console is a rather pricy requirement to play the better of the two games. :P

I finally got around to finishing Little Inferno yesterday (six months post-release). It's a game everyone should probably at least think about giving it a go, and is available on Win/Mac/Linux (and I think, iOS and the Wii U). It's made by the chaps behind World of Goo. It also has a pretty cool soundtrack (which is freely available).

Here's a review.

Incognita is now accepting pre-orders with alpha access.

The alpha is a bit bare bones, but really really good.

Think of it like turn-based subversion without the massive overengineering.

Pokemon X/Y, anyone?

...Probably not...

I've got Y here. It's quite good! I'm not a big RPG fan but GAMEFREAK sure know how to make a game both approachable and complex. My last (and only) Pokemon game was Pokemon Sapphire on GBA. I still have the GBA but not the game, I must have given it away to someone after I got sick of it.
