Tangents again. And I'm not sure whether one is supposed to use the word 'plane' in that context. Subtle hints, maybe? If so, the tangents reference doesn't tell us whether actual geometrical tangents are good or bad. *grumble*.

Kill the camel

As there is no camel, zjoere begins running around furiously in trying to kill an imaginary one. In the process, shinygerbil and Shwart!! are knocked down and incapacitated.

Result: shinygerbil and Shwart!! are unconscious, the group has stopped zjoere's wild rampage.

Note: I am waiting for the holidays (including New Years) before really doing anything with this as people have been/may still be out.

Am I still unconscious? O_O

Shwart!! and shinygerbil have finally awaken from unconsciousness. The first words from shinygerbil indicate that he's still very confused.

Wait, I mean the other one. Conscious!

In blithe ignorance of X marks spot:

SOLVE
Gather everyone around to stick their fingers on/in the circles.

"Points external" are the squares.
"Lines eternal" are the circles.
"At once uniting" is all of us coming together.
"Find an entry inviting" implies we should have had more people than 12, or however many circles need be pushed.

Mas in true form, follows the others in pointless guessing and gathers the group around for a session of "poking".

Result: Nothing happens.

The group has been underground and without proper nutrition for far too long it seems. They are now hearing voices.

At the risk of getting another tangent remark: SOLVE.
Image
Press the TOP end of the red cross thing. The one where the closest thing Arabic writing has to an X lies. Why the top? The panel with the corroded text lies a couple of pixels higher in its square than the other three.

If that has no effect: press the other ends of the cross, too.

Basically, that's just to rule this simple thing out. I neither uses the poem nor the circle pictures, so it's a long shot.

Once again, bert goes off on a wild tangent and gives the wall another push. It does not move.

Result: Nothing happens.

Aha. My puzzle designer mind reading skills tell me that this failure at bbcode is supposed to tell us that tangents are good, only wild tangents are bad.

Unfortunately, I don't really see right now how geometric tangents fit the X or the poem. It can't be just "take two simultaneous tangents to two circles each and see where they meet", there's way too many combinations for that.
