Paperwinia!

Postby the4ce » Tue Oct 21, 2008 4:16 pm

In one day I had the idea of making multiwinians from paper. After some days I got a grey sprite of a multiwinian and I color it green and red...after some more days I made the Armor to from a 3D model.

And here are the results:

The red multiwinians looks a little wierd... :?

I will try to upload the files tomorow if you want to make one.

Even though it seems like such an obvious thing to do, I think you're the first to try it this seriously. Good job. ;)

That's pretty nifty. Reminds me of the Quake models: http://cow.mooh.org/paper/ and the various companion cube templates.

I would love to see the armour template, if you'd be so kind as to upload it :)

Could something similar be done, maybe, for triffids and spiders with some pipe cleaners?

Jelco

Try it again -- I moved some stuff around, and didn't go back in time to correct all of the links.

OK I now have a printed and cut out selection of armour parts.

The only problem is I have no idea how they go together...
