There were 2 for free :P

But normally, yeah, buying drinks out is often expensive.

I don't drink. Although I wasn't there...

I personally just don't enjoy drinking.

British Miltary Tactics: Stand upon the bust of Caesar?

I certainly would've been out of place there - I'd be the only one with an Australian accent.

Heh, I can imagine.

Rather disappointed I couldn't go, next time hopefully (whichever game that may be).

I wished I teetotalled.

Still would've been ill, but at least my wallet would've agreed where stomach would not.

Caesar? Have you even looked at the image? :P

If he has, he missed the not so subtle hint about the identity.

Here's another one: The Fluffwinian is actually life sized compared to la petite corporal.

Heh..to be fair I think it looks a bit Caesar too...but then I always picture the Napoleon from Bill and Ted when I hear the name...

Yup...I think Martin Mir was on the door when we arrived and he had to get me to point at my name on the list...there was even a translation in the program for the Billy Elliot show we went to see (set in the north of England)...

About accents: I think I've heard more than I knew existed on that one night - one more would definitely not be out of place. :P Seriously though, including myself there were people from the UK, Ireland, USA, Cyprus, Holland and Denmark (and if we count Montyphy's having lived out in Basel probably Switzerland :P). People from the UK alone lived scattered across so many different places that it sometimes was like people were talking completely different languages when they were in fact all talking English. ;)

Well excuse me for not reading the carving, I didn't scroll down that far.

And I certainly wouldn't recognise him on sight either.
