It has been several months since the viral invasion of Darwinia, and I am still trying to get rid of all of the viral code. The task has proven to be much harder than I thought, as much of the code is quite hard to spot. It has also been causing no end of trouble. More often than I care to admit, Darwinians are born created with viral corruption. This corruption generally causes violent behaviours among the affected Darwinians. They fight with, and often kill, other Darwinians.
For the most part, these individuals can be deleted, and their base code cleaned, but in some instances, the code is quite subtle, and the behavioural changes are well hidden. I think I have segregated the worst offenders in Containment. Unfortunately, I had to trap them there with several other Darwinians, who show no sign of infection. I am debating whether or not I should simply destroy them all, or see if I can discover some way of detecting the corruption.
For the moment, I think I will simply let things play out, and see what happens.

Thus, the story is set. You are all DGs in the world of Darwinia. For some unknown reason, you have all been trapped in Containment. You don't know what you have done to anger your deity, and your friends have been dying, one by one, for the last few days. Those of you that remain have gathered under the Great Tree in order to come up with a plan.
You all agree that there must be members of your group who have been corrupted by the virus, and that the only way to escape Containment is to find those individuals, and delete them, sending their souls to the Soul Repository for processing.
Each day, you will eliminate one or more individuals. Each of you will be given one vote, which must be cast in [size=18] font. At the end of the day, the votes will be tallied, and the individual with the most votes will be eliminated. In the event of a tie, all individuals involved in the tie, will be eliminated.
If you do not vote, a phantom vote will be cast against you. The second time in a row that you do not vote, or the third time that you do not vote, you will be eliminated. That is, if you don't vote on day 1, then don't vote on day 2, you will be eliminated; or, if you don't vote on day 1 and day 3, then you don't vote on day 5, you will be eliminated.
You are welcome to PM and taunt any other player in any way you wish, and IRC is always on. However, do please try to be respectful of newbies, and try not to read too much into other people's PMs and posts (see where that got bert_the_turtle in the last game).
I will try not to interfere in the game beyond my duties as GM. However, in the case of questions about the rules, my word is law. ;)
