What were you expecting? It's GTA3, again. Sure, the graphics are (arguably) better, and you can drive more ridiculous vehicles, but it's still just a running-people-over sandbox with a story duct-taped to it.

haven't played gta IV yet but my favorite gta game still is vice city. It had a very nice atmosphere and was really funny.

In the dark past I remember getting Jet Set Willy (for ZX Spectrum) just about when it came out though it turned out to have a number of crippling bugs.

More recently the one game I remember getting early was the first Pro Evo for PS1...the first 3D footie game that felt right.
