Super Tuesday
Super Tuesday
It's official, there is less then ten days until Super Tuesday!
I don't know how many of you know what it is or how many of you care, but for me it's practically a holiday, made especially exciting this year since we have a real horse race! I realize how much of a nerd it makes me, but I'm trying to decide between throwing a party or just settling down with a micro-brewed root beer to watch the results come in.

"There are"
"less than"
So much for an educated electorate. . .

"less than 10 days" can be read as a single article, so he's still sort of correct.

Although he spelled 'than' wrong as 'then'...

If that was a serious comment, I think I can truthfully say that you pay zero attention to the news.

To be fair he's English, so it would be international news for him.
Just to help out the barbarians of the forum, Super Tuesday is the day when a large number of US States hold their primary vote for the Presidential election.
But still. Here in Holland it's been the biggest news for the past weeks. You must be blind to have missed it.
Oh wait, maybe you heard of 'Tsunami Tuesday'? That's what they called it just before New Year. (Why don't they use that name anymore, by the way?)

Well honestly, what really happens in Holland anyway? It's not like you have anything else to pay attention to.

"Tsunami Tuesday" has been used to describe this coming Tuesday as it's the biggest Super Tuesday in history. Historically there have been multiple super Tuesdays in the election, but this year the other super Tuesday, March 4th, only has four states holding votes, so Tsunami Tuesday has been used to distinguish the primary Super Tuesday from the other super Tuesday.
