Dating

We all know the stereotypes associated with computer gamers. So, this post is meant to gauge about how much the forum users actually go on dates. Since there are a number of married folk, I would say to use your best judgment in figuring out how much you and your spouse go on dates (i.e. "I'm tired, let's order pizza" probably wouldn't count, but "Hey, would you like to get take out and watch a movie this evening" might).

As this can be a sensitive topic, don't feel obligated to make a comment to go along with your vote.

I personally make it out about once a week or so (rarely on Friday or Saturday, oddly enough). Homework and such often get in the way, so Thursday has become my main date day.

Once or twice a week. I'm a student (read: no money) but I have a girlfriend of more than 2 years (read: drains money) so I try my best.

(Usually it's a trip to the cinema and dinner, but the cinema's free because I work there!)

I on the other hand don't seem to be able to keep myself out of long term relationships

if there was ever a guy not afraid of commitment...and sometimes punishment :roll:

then it's certainly me, but in the terms of your poll...2 or 3 times a week. Half the time with another couple or two...other couples tend to become more important in sustaining your sanity and sharing the pain, i regularly enjoy going down to a field once a week and playing football/soccer with some guys just to get away from the girls.

Well I've been living with my girlfriend for about a year now so its hard to gauge what would be classed as a 'date' for us, but I'd say probably 1 or 2 times a week as thats about how often we went before we moved in.

If I'm going out with someone, a few times a week (a week night or two and then the weekend) otherwise a few times a month (first dates).
