Meh, I did it more as a way to keep in touch with some of the people back home. I resisted it for a very long time.

Myspace is usually used by lame narcissitic attention whores, yes. But I found people I hadn't seen since elementary school in it. Not bad for networking either. So if you're the type of person who writes bulletins on "Chex out my nue pix!!! lolz!", then, yes, you're a waste of life. But it IS a good tool to keep in touch with people, and meet people with same interests and whatnot through the 'groups' thing.

Ive met a number of people through 1up and Myspace.com. And like Dela said, its a good way to keep in contact with alot of people.
