Now that Introversion has completed DEFCON i wonder what their next game will be! I am sure that some of you that are reading this topic is asking yourself this question now

i am pretty sure alot of people are deep inside themselfs hoping for a new Uplink.

What exactly would they add to an Uplink 2 that you can't mod into the original already?

I suppose there's definitly a market for it, so far the other hacking simulations haven't been near the kind of thing Introversion could pull off.

I know quite a bit about an MMO hacking sim called NanoByte Online, which is a pretty good one, nice online and all that, but it's still no Uplink, I reckon Introversion could make quite a hit with an Uplink 2, now they've got the attention of a lot of new gamers with the whole steam deal and of course Defcon. I'm no business man, but I'd say they've got a damn good shot.

Just to repeat alot of other people on this forums, IV making a Uplink 2 wouldn't be vey innovative. It would have nothing to do, with IV's ideology, which is making new, innovative games. Alot of people said, that IV doesn't do sequels, which I personally think is part of their success.

Introversion have been helping me with concepts and ideas regarding Nanobyte Online and its robustness in design. Nanobyte Online, in my opinion, is the closest thing you'll get to an online Uplink (that an ByteLink, but I haven't tried that MMO yet).
