I think the fact that he hasn't done so has elicited all the one-word answers ;)

Eitherway, I played neither, but I was wondering what you wanted to achieve by asking people this? Do you wish to converse with them about the game? Did you lose your copy and are you hoping they could hook you up?
Perhaps you should state your goal next time ;)

I don't know, i just thought of asking and seeing if lot's of people played it. Just to see if they would wish it would come back to that style again.

What do you mean by style? gameplay? There have been quite a few games released around and after the games you named that have the same gameplay i.e 'Sam & Max Hit the Road', the 'Broken Sword' series, the rest of the Monkey Island series, the Discworld series etc etc. So it's not like I want it to return because in my eyes it never went. Although I guess it has been a while since one has been released, but then, I can't be sure as I haven't been looking. Besides, I still have the Myst series sitting on my shelf waiting to be completed.

There's no funny in Myst, though. Great games, but no funnies.

Indeed, no funnies but at least they are very pretty to look at. I remember my first time playing Riven, I was amazed by the flare when looking at the sun...

I'm suprised Grim worked for you then. I found that near the end when you have to jump across the building tops the computer ground to a near halt.
