The place to hang out and talk about totally anything general.

Hard. Rock. Hallelujah.

They won.
Finland.
They won.

The Eurovision Song Contest is over.

The revolution has begun.

Lordi will reign.

Lordi did not win.

THEY OWNED.

Maybe next year the whole contest will be pulled out of the 70's and we can have 24 good bands :D

First time I ever voted in Eurovision history. And we gave Lordi 12 :D

With Russian's voting for the Ukraine, and Ukraine voting for Russia (and all the other similiar votings!), how can it not be accurate!!!

Finally something decent. The amount of crap Abba clones year after year bores the hell out of me. Lordi was funny.

Hey! Please tell this out-of-touch American n00b what you're talking about!
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

Something an American would have no clue about. Just google "Eurovision" and you'l get an idea. Riverdance was the spawn of a mid-show break from Eurovision.

BBC News about their entry :D

In summary, Eurovision is a horridly horrid puke-feast of pop groups from around Europe where each country votes for who they want. The votes are VERY often political (read: all the time), and so its more a contest of who has most friends. Most entries are rubbish, and make me cry. This year, Finland entered a death metal band, Lordi, and won! Their first win. Good for them!

Eurovision is crap and all about politics.
On a side note, the one time I didn't watch that crap they finally had a decent song/band.
Thus far, I didn't quite like Finnish people, in the exception of a few (such as purple motion).
However, they sure seem to have kick ass metal.

GG Lordi.

What does slightly amaze me is that Lordi got high score!
Highest score EVER!

Here as well.

The beginning beat of their song makes me want to watch Lobo again.
