Problems with my profile

Postby Iris » Fri May 12, 2006 2:20 pm

Why do I get this message when I try to edit my own profile in the forums?

"Access denied on account of your IP being found in an RBL (realtime blacklist)."

WTF is going on?

Have you been the one spamming our forums?

Maybe it's your ISP or someone from there who's been spamming us. If your ISP is one of the blacklisted IPs, that may account for the message.

In case you haven't noticed, we've been getting more spam here than we usually get. I wouldn't blame the IV crew for blocking IPs of forum-spammers.

Who is your ISP anyway?

Heh, Iris spam our forums?! She's kill herself (and probably everyone else) before doing that!

Grammar's already bitten the dust, apparently.

Iris, try again now -- I changed it not to block if the user is already logged in.

Spelling, too, "she'd" instead of "she's"! Sorry!

I don't want to start a new thread for this little nothing, so I think this one suits my problem best.

I would like to ask you guys to tell me if you can see the pictures I'm posting. I want to test whether the service provider allows abroad and/or overseas users to see the pictures uploaded there (they might block it, so I want to be sure). I'm planing to use these as avatars so I want to be sure they aren't blocked.

I don't see any.

Only joking, of course. They show up.
Interesting avatar choice you've got there.

I need a source on your avatar, Hmuda.

Thanks, it's a relief that even the Americans can see them.:)

Oh well, if someone loves animes they tend to use the characters as avatars. ^_^
xyzyxx wrote:I need a source on your avatar, Hmuda.
Err, you mean which anime they are from? The current avatar (good consciousness shooting the bad one (and later getting arrested for it :P)) and the last three in the message are from "Excel Saga" (most funny anime I've seen do far) and the first one on the list is from Cowboy Bebop (more of a western style anime for the out-of-Japan market).

Cowboy Bebop is brilliant. It's really clever!

Liked it a lot, but the ending wasn't as I expected and it seemed really rushed.

I've only ever seen the film, so I assume you mean the fight at the top of the tower?
